1/11/11 Hidden Valley

  • A traffic hazard was reported at N. Rio Bravo & W. Mobile Rds. When the railroad barrier gate was down but no train was visible. UPRR said they would dispatch someone as soon as possible.

  • Theft from a vehicle was reported on N. Van Loo Dr. Painting supplies and tools were taken.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Oakland Dr. was reported. A pistol, cell phone, and other items were taken.
  • A complaint of harassment was received from N. Wilson Ave. The caller stated harassment by at attorney at the court house.
  • A trash can was reported stolen from W. Laramie Rd.
  • A juvenile problem was reported on N. John Wayne Pkwy. A group of juveniles were kicking down trash cans in the McDonald’s parking lot.
  • A verbal domestic dispute was reported on W. Cielo Ln.
  • A complaint of animal noise after 8:00 P.M. was received from N. Alexis Ave. The caller stated the neighbor had moved out and left the dog in the backyard. It was unknown if the animal had food or water.
  • A medical call was received from N. Donithan Way for a subject who fell and was unconscious. EMS responded.
  • A medical call was received from N. John Wayne Pkwy. A female was not feeling well. The call was put through to EMS.
  • Criminal damage to a vehicle on W. Woody Rd. was reported after someone “keyed” a vehicle.
  • A generator on fire was reported on N. Riccardo Way. The fire department responded.
  • A verbal domestic dispute was reported on W. Miramar Rd.
  • Vehicle theft was reported on W. Sunland Dr.
Stanfield

  • Stanfield School reported that an 11-year-old threatened to shoot another student with a gun. No weapons were involved and the 11-year-old was detained in the school office.
1/12/11 Maricopa

  • A vehicle accident was reported on W. Cydnee Dr. after a vehicle ran into a tree.
  • An information report was received that at the bus stop at Smith-Enke people were ignoring the bus’s stop arm and passing the bus stopped for children.
  • A complaint of animal noise after 7:30 A.M. was received from N. Bustos Way about the barking dog next door.
  • A caller on N. Marina Ave. reported a theft. The caller had left the garage door open overnight and some items were taken.
  • A complaint of illegal dumping on a work site on N. Rancho El Dorado Pkwy. was received.
  • A vehicle fire to a semi garbage truck was received from W. Mobile Rd. A second call and third call were also received.
  • A report of illegal dumping was received from N. Liles Ln.
  • Burglary to a home on W. Windrose Dr. was reported.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Horse Mesa Rd. was reported. The registration and insurance paperwork were taken.
  • A juvenile problem was reported at the High School. No further information was given.
  • A hit-and-run was reported in the parking lot at McDonald’s.
  • A vehicle accident was reported on W. Honeycutt Ave. after a van ran into a brick wall at Butterfield Elementary School.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Woody Rd. was reported. A cell phone and iPod were taken.
  • Attempted burglary to a vehicle was reported on W. Horse Mesa Rd.
  • A fight among juveniles outside a home on W. Novak Ln. was reported.
  • A complaint of a barking dog after 8:30 P.M. was received from N. Van Loo Dr.
Stanfield

  • Burglary to a business in the 36000 block of W. Hwy. 84 was reported. The front window was broken to gain entry.
  • Stanfield School reported finding a note on how to kill a teacher at the school.
1/14/11 Hidden Valley

  • Suspicious activity was reported in the 2700 block of N. Shirley Rd. when someone was pushing on the backdoor of a home.
  • An assault was reported in the area of N. Warren & W. Dune Shadow Rds.
Maricopa

  • Gerhardt Anthony Dalby, age 49, of Maricopa was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, assault with intent, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Burglary overnight to a vehicle on W. Sonny Rd. was reported. A laptop and other items were taken.
  • Burglary overnight to a vehicle on W. Dutchman Dr. was reported. The GPS was taken.
  • Theft from a vehicle on W. Sheridan Rd. was reported. The owner stated the rear door was left unlocked. A GPS and a set of keys were taken.
  • A medical call was received from N. Gibson Dr. for an elderly female who was not breathing. The woman was cold to the touch.
  • Burglary to a home on N. Toya St. was reported. Numerous items were taken.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Belle Ave. was reported.
  • An agency assist was requested to Porter & W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Hwy. for traffic control when a traffic signal was down.
  • A fire was reported on N. Rancho Mirage Blvd.
  • Some wood on fire was reported on W. Farrell Rd.
  • A report of a runaway juvenile was received from W. Sunland Dr.
  • An assault on a juvenile by another juvenile was reported on W. Honeycutt Rd.
  • A runaway juvenile was reported on W. Marin Ave. The juvenile is mentally disabled.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on N. Greenland Park Dr. was reported.
  • A complaint of dogs barking after 8:00 P.M. was received from W. Rhinestone Rd. the caller said this is an ongoing issue.
  • An unwanted person was reported on W. Cartegna Ln. when people were staring in a window.
  • Criminal damage to a vehicle on W. Gavilan Dr. was reported. The vehicle had fist marks in it.
  • A complaint of a disturbance after 10:00 P.M. was received from W. Rio Bravo Dr. The caller said there was loud music.

  • A call was received from the 200 block of N. Baylor Way regarding a Rottweiler that has been chasing kids in the area.
1/15/11 Hidden Valley

  • A hang gliding accident was reported in the 32000 block of W. Bud Rd. All necessary agencies were notified.

  • Bernadino Rios Serrano, age 34, of Maricopa was arrested on a warrant for three charges of failure to appear.
  • A delayed report of assault was received from W. Holly Dr. The caller said his ex-girlfriend assaulted him two days ago.
  • Suspicious activity was reported on W. Roth Rd. after someone toilet papered a house.
  • A report of theft was received from N. Gatun Ave. after someone took a camera from a vehicle.
  • A structure fire was reported on N. Hartman Rd. A second call was received a minute later.
  • Criminal damage was reported on W. Sunland Dr. after someone “punched” the steering wheel of a vehicle, possibly in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
  • A truck was reported stolen from W. El Greco St.
  • A domestic dispute was reported on W. Buckhorn Tr.
  • A juvenile problem was reported on W. Cowpath Rd. after a juvenile kicked someone with steel toe boots.
  • A complaint of barking dogs after 12:30 P.M. was received from W. Centennial Dr. The caller said this is an ongoing problem.
  • Theft was reported on N. John Wayne Pkwy. after a laptop was stolen.
  • Suspicious activity was reported on W. Dirk St. when juveniles were observed at a vacant home.
  • Theft of items from a yard on N. O’Sullivan Dr. was reported.
  • A complaint of animal noise after 6:30 P.M. was received from Madrid Ave. The caller said the neighbors had gone out of town and “left three barking dogs.”
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Sunland Dr. was reported.

  • Jose Antonio Figueroa, age 23, of Maricopa was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
  • Jesus Raymond Flores, age 22, of Maricopa was arrested on a warrant for drug charges.
  • A complaint of noise after 2:00 A.M. was received from W. Meadows Ln. when several subjects were screaming and yelling back and forth.
  • Suspicious activity was reported on W. Kramer Ln. when a juvenile was in the backyard of a home for sale.
  • Burglary to a vacant home on Portabello Rd. was reported.
  • Theft from a home on W. Kari Ln. was reported when the homeowner returned from vacation.
  • Criminal damage was reported on W. Windmill Dr. after someone slashed the vinyl top on a vehicle.
  • Theft of appliances from a home on W. Caven Dr. was reported.
  • An unwanted person was reported on W. Rainbow Dr. when a woman was on the property making threats.
  • Animal cruelty was reported on W. Honeycutt Rd. when two girls with small dogs were observed beating the dogs with their shoes. A second call was also received.
  • A citizen dispute was reported on W. Kristal Ln. when a neighbor’s basketball kept coming into the caller’s yard.
  • A complaint of animal noise after 10:00 P.M. was received from W. Guilder Ave.
1/17/11 Hidden Valley

  • A call was received from the 52000 block of W. Esch Tr. for a 12-year-old female bucked off a horse. Southwest Ambulance transported the victim to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
  • A stolen vehicle was recovered at I-8 and Vekol Rd. The vehicle had been stripped.
  • A burglary was reported in the 49000 block of W. Century Rd. after someone observed persons attempting to break into a vacant home.
  • Pinal County Deputies reported a traffic offense in the area of S. Amarillo Valley Rd. & W. Hwy. 84. The stop resulted in a bailout. 1200 pounds of drugs were seized.
  • A single-vehicle rollover accident was reported on N. John Wayne Pkwy. near mile marker 164. The vehicle was about 20 yards off the road. Southwest Ambulance responded.

  • Gunshots were reported in the area of W. Raynon St. A second reported was received from W. Martie Lynn Rd.
  • Burglary to a vehicle on W. Jeremy St. was reported. An iPod was taken.
