Signups open for MLL fall ball

Calling all ball players!
Maricopa Little League (MLL) registration for Fall Ball is available online and practices will be starting soon! MLL is also gearing up for the new year and looking for volunteer Board Members.
Finished with a highly successful 2012 spring/summer season, Maricopa Little League ushers in fall with more softball and hardball. All divisions for Maricopa kids ages four to eighteen are open for registration. The new Challenger division will play regardless of how many register. All other divisions will need at least 44 entrants to play; those with less will be combined. Practices will begin in late August or September, with games through October and November.
Ready to sign up? You don’t need a physical to register. Just go online to www.MaricopaLittleLeague.com. Select “online registration” from the menu and have your credit card handy. To register by mail, select “forms” from the menu to print out the registration. Mail the completed forms and payment to:

If you’d rather register your child in person, sign-ups will be scheduled soon around town. Plan to take with you a copy of your child’s birth certificate and proof of residency. This can be a utility bill or rental contract that shows your name and physical address.
Board elections for the new season are scheduled for September 12 at 6:30 P.M., at Saddleback Elementary School, north of Walmart at 18600 North Porter Road. For anyone who wants to be part of a dynamic volunteer organization, this is a great way to contribute. All volunteers from the 2012 season are eligible to vote – that includes anyone who has a volunteer form on file with MLL, from team parents to Board officers. Please plan to attend, whether or not you intend to serve on the Board. Your input is important.
