MARICOPA, AZ -- The Ak-Chin Indian Community Council and Ak-Chin Industrial Park Board have agreed to offer a build-to-suit option to well-qualified tenants at its Santa Cruz Commerce Center. With shovel-ready lots ranging from 1.2 acres and up, the fully improved industrial park currently has more than 50 acres immediately available.
“This option gives a business the opportunity to get a customized facility without the upfront capital outlay,” said Board Chairman Charles Carlyle. “The Commerce Center also offers substantial tax savings and below-market, long-term leases.”
Santa Cruz Commerce Center is the largest, fully improved commercial/ industrial property in the City of Maricopa area. Zoned for I-1 and I-2 use, the Commerce Center is focusing on green industries, tech businesses, small manufacturing ventures, and other types of light industrial and office/warehouse/showroom operations.
Located in Pinal County, between the cities of Maricopa and Casa Grande, with close proximity to Phoenix and Tucson, the Commerce Center is within easy reach of ready labor pools, Interstates 8 and 10, and the newly renamed Ak-Chin Regional Airport (formerly Phoenix Regional Airport.) with its 5,000 foot runway. Engineering designs for the Airport have just been completed and renovations are planned to start in the first quarter of this year.
