CGRMC hosts weight loss nutrition class -- January 9

Casa Grande, Arizona – Casa Grande Regional Medical Center (CGRMC) is conducting a nutrition class, “The Healthy Weigh to Weight Loss,” taught by a Registered Dietician on Monday, January 9, 2012, from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. in the Discovery Room at the hospital. Learn how to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Determine your BMI (body mass index), calorie needs, and energy expenditures. An emphasis will be placed on healthy food choices, portion control, and behavior modification tips for permanent weight loss. This class is free, but space is limited. This class is part of a series of nutrition classes to be held each month at the hospital. The goal of the series is to provide participants with the knowledge and tools to make better food choices to improve their health. All of the classes will be taught by a Registered Dietitian.
