The Maricopa High School (MHS) Choir and Orchestra program will be presenting their first concert of the year together on the stage of the new Performing Arts Center on November 10, 2011.
The choir will be performing a variety of music ranging from Tschesnokoff's "Salvation is Created" to Queen's "Somebody to Love" with a little taste of the holidays thrown in!.
The orchestra will also be performing a wide range of selections including a selection using only one bow in the whole orchestra, a classical twist on some holiday favorites, and the performances that earned the group an "excellent" rating at the Fall Orchestra Festival on October 1st.
This inaugural performance in the new Performing Arts Center will be available to the community free of charge. Come out and enjoy our music making!
